UP Combined Pre-Medical Test (CPMT) results were declared on late Monday evening.
Keeping the city flag aloft, four of the city aspirants clinched the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 7th spot among the first 10 rankers of the state. Ashfaq Khan, who hails from Allahabad and who received guidance from a city institute, secured second rank. Diwaker was on cloud nine after securing the third rank.
Son of an eye surgeon, Aishwarya was all in praise for his parents and coaching teacher. Talking to TOI, Aishwarya expressed his joy for clearing the exam in the first go. "I have no words to express my feelings at this moment," said the boy who is looking forward to securing a seat in CSMMU, Lucknow.
Ambika Roy, clinching the seventh position, too painted the town red. Meanwhile, the deserted coaching institutes had turned live with the joyous celebration of the elated students who got through the medical exam successfully.
